The event, More Things in Heaven and Earth, was held on September 27, 2024 on Yale's campus by the Yale Student UFO Society with support from the New Paradigm Institute and the Visible College. The complete lecture is public, and the three Alien Avi videos are excerpts from Sheehan's appearance. The 2004 Nimitz encounter is preserved in retired Commander David Fravor's formal statement to Congress. Representatives Eric Burlison, Anna Paulina Luna and Tim Burchett have also spoken publicly about claims or briefings concerning activity and possible bases beneath the sea.
The undersea-base claim does not rest on Sheehan alone. It joins military testimony, statements by lawmakers and seabed imagery that has prompted public questions. What has not been opened in full is the underlying government material cited by briefers and sources: operational reports, tracking data and the briefings themselves. The distinction matters. This was a teach-in organised by the Yale Student UFO Society and held in Linsly-Chittenden Hall. Sheehan and Jim Garrison appeared for the New Paradigm Institute in a ninety-minute session. The event is documented, but its location does not mean Yale University verified the claims made by its speakers. The programme was intended to bring UAP into multidisciplinary discussion alongside physics, philosophy and support for people who report encounters.
Who Daniel Sheehan is
Daniel Peter Sheehan is a Harvard Law School-trained American attorney with a long career in public-interest litigation and nonprofit advocacy. One documented connection to the subject was his legal representation of Harvard psychiatrist John Mack, who studied people reporting encounters with non-human beings and faced a faculty review. Sheehan is now chief counsel of the New Paradigm Institute, which campaigns for broad government release of UAP information. His legal background explains his focus on sources, secrecy and government accountability, but it does not itself authenticate the biological and intelligence claims in the lecture.
In the first part, Sheehan frames the phenomenon not as isolated lights but as a continuing presence involving several non-human groups. He speaks as a disclosure advocate who believes the central question is no longer whether something exists, but who controls the information and what social change would follow its release. That is his stated position, not the conclusion of a public government report.
Sheehan says different species maintain bases in remote mountain regions and beneath the ocean floor. He points specifically to the area near Guadalupe Island, west of Baja California, and says the USS Nimitz carrier strike group was positioned to monitor activity there. In his account, the force tracked more than one hundred craft descending from space, entering the water and being followed by nuclear submarines. This is the series' most concrete claim because it provides a location, a military force and a pattern of movement that could in principle be checked.
David Fravor's official statement confirms that in November 2004 the USS Princeton had tracked objects descending from above 80,000 feet for roughly two weeks, and that Fravor and other aviators encountered a white Tic Tac-shaped object above an area of disturbed water. Representative Tim Burchett has publicly described a conversation with an admiral and an object said to move at extraordinary speed underwater. Eric Burlison and Anna Paulina Luna said they heard a claim from a briefer with a naval background concerning a structure or activity in the deep ocean. These are not isolated internet rumours but an accumulating public record of statements by military witnesses and lawmakers. An older Google Earth view shows Sycamore Knoll, a broad, flat-topped seabed formation off Malibu near Catalina Island. Reports in 2025 said the detailed view had been replaced by a blurred or less detailed area. The original image matters because readers can see the exact formation that drove the discussion. It is not, however, the same location as the waters near Guadalupe Island identified by Sheehan. Both belong to the broader public conversation about anomalous activity off California, but they should not be presented as a single coordinate.
Sheehan alleges that people have been taken involuntarily for decades, that sperm and ova are collected, and that embryos combining human and non-human genetic material are created. He says the embryos are temporarily returned to human pregnancies, later removed and raised outside the human environment. He names short Greys, tall Greys and mantis-like beings, then says US intelligence agencies know this is occurring and conceal it. The clip provides no DNA test, medical chain of custody or releasable government document by which the allegation can be verified.
The subtitles refer to 24 chromosomes in human sperm and egg cells. The standard human count is 23 chromosomes in each gamete, producing 23 pairs and normally 46 chromosomes after fertilisation. The line may reflect a slip of the tongue, a captioning error or an unexplained distinction, but as presented it does not match human genetics. Because the central claim concerns hybridisation, the discrepancy is material rather than cosmetic.
Sheehan is influential in disclosure advocacy because he connects law, people inside the system and unusually specific accounts of non-human activity. The undersea-base discussion does not rest on his words alone: it joins Nimitz testimony, statements by members of Congress and seabed mapping imagery already discussed in public.
