UAP

Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. A neutral term for observations that remain unidentified after initial review.

USO

An unidentified submerged object reported in or beneath water.

NHI

Non-human intelligence. A hypothesis or claim, not a conclusion established by the acronym itself.

Hemi-Sync

Audio techniques developed by the Monroe Institute to encourage synchronized patterns of brain activity.

Remote viewing

An experimental protocol in which a participant attempts to describe a distant or hidden target.

Chain of custody

The documented path showing who collected, stored, transferred and examined a piece of evidence.

Sensor artifact

An apparent feature produced by the camera, radar, processing system or compression rather than by the observed scene.

Parallax

Apparent motion created by a change in the observer's viewpoint, often important in aerial video analysis.

Declassified

Unresolved

A case lacking enough evidence for a reliable identification. It is not proof of a specific extraordinary explanation.
